Terry Maples was born in Ardmore, Tennessee, and grew up in North Alabama.  He graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Accounting in 1979 and from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity in Religious Education in 1983. Terry is married to Joan and they have two grown children, Andrew and Anna.

Terry became Field Coordinator for TCBF on June 1, 2010. Prior to assuming his new role, he served as educator in three different congregations in Florida and Virginia. Most recently, Terry was Associate Pastor for Education & Discipleship at Huguenot Road Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia—a position he held for almost 20 years. In addition, he served on the adjunct faculty at Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond.

Terry’s passion is helping individuals and congregations discover and live into God’s unique calling. He has strong convictions about helping congregations form and nurture vital faith that results in transformed lives and ministry to the least of these.

Brittany Jackson became Office Manager for Tennessee CBF on October 28, 2011. She graduated with honors from Middle Tennessee State University in May 2007 with a major in Interior Design and a minor in Music and Human Science. Brittany and her husband Chris are active members of First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, TN.  They have three children.

Brittany is very creative and is excited about investing her gifts in the ministry of TCBF. When she isn’t working for TCBF, Brittany enjoys singing in the Chancel Choir at First Baptist and the Middle Tennessee Choral Society at MTSU.
